Question 1

What does Wicketmend check, and how often?

Accepted Answer

Scheduled checks run once a day on the public business website and each public listing you have saved. They compare published hours and contact name, email, and phone with the values you saved and confirmed. You can also start a check yourself on your saved targets. A separate saved booking-link check measures HTTP reachability only; it does not check appointment availability.

Question 2

Which saved details are used as the comparison baseline?

Accepted Answer

The hours and contact name, email, and phone saved to your Wicketmend account are the comparison baseline. A check uses the saved values for that run. Unsaved form edits are not checked; save your changes before running a check if you want them included.

Question 3

Why might Wicketmend be unable to compare a value?

Accepted Answer

A comparison may not be possible when you have not saved a confirmed value, the published detail is missing or ambiguous, or the page cannot be read. These results mean there is not enough clear information to compare. They do not by themselves prove a mismatch.

Question 4

What do match, mismatch, and other results mean?

Accepted Answer

A match means the observed published value agrees with the saved confirmed value. A mismatch means the observed value differs from the saved confirmed value. Ambiguous, indeterminate, unreadable, unavailable, incomplete, or failed results are not confirmed matches or mismatches. A reachable booking link only means its HTTP response was reachable; it does not establish that appointments are available.

Question 5

What do check history and activity reports show?

Accepted Answer

For saved findings, check history and activity reports show the public page URL, the published or observed value, the saved confirmed value, and when the observation was recorded. Check history also shows the field result. Activity reports contain saved findings; unclear or incomplete checks are not confirmed matches or mismatches. If a report includes an AI-proposed correction, it is only a suggestion.

Question 6

Does Wicketmend apply findings or fix connected accounts?

Accepted Answer

No. Findings and proposed corrections are not applied. Wicketmend does not edit your public pages or connected accounts, and connected-account fixes are unavailable. Review any observation or suggestion and make changes yourself wherever the information is managed.

Question 7

Does a reachable booking link mean customers can book?

Accepted Answer

No. The separate booking-link check tests HTTP reachability for the saved URL. It does not open a booking flow, inspect a calendar, or verify appointment availability.
